The Azzurri are one of the most successful teams in the history of the UEFA European Nations Championship. They became European Champions twice, winning the Henry Delaunay Cup in 1968 and 2020. They almost won it again twice but the Azzurri had to be content with the second place after losing the final. The Italian Football National Team finished also twice fourth, once losing with a penalty shoot-out. After the 1980 edition, the 3/4 Place Final is not being played anymore and so the 3 & 4th place positions are determined through the Semi-Finals results. Italy hosted the competition twice, in 1968 and 1980 and co-hosted the tournament along with other ten European countries in 2020. The Henry

The Henry Delaunay Cup
Delaunay Cup was changed with minor changes from the old one before the 2008 edition. During the years the Azzurri established a lot of records, both as a team and the players individually. These pages honours all those who made us fans dream - the stars in the Azzurri EURO History. The first page highlights the EUROs in which the Azzurri excelled, all the Team and Nation Euro Records and Awards, and honours the Officials (Presidents, Coaches and Assistant Coaches, and Referees) and the Clubs.
